Pachermo Peak

20 Days | 19 Nights

Overview

This beautiful program links the Rolwaling Valley to Khumbu and offers numerous sceneries such as: small Tamang villages, maize or buckwheat terraced fields, the very wild Rolwaling Valley, alpine pastures, glaciers, the very famous Tashi Lapcha pass, which is the Khumbu gateway and the towering Gaurishankar Mountain (7146m). The untouched by western civilization Rolwaling Valley is the main access to Pachermo. We climb north-east of the icefall of Tashi Laptsa, setting up a high camp just below rock walls at 5 500m. From this camp we gain the ridge of Pachermo, following it without much difficulty.
