Background and Travel experience:
Lhawang Norbu Sherpa has grown up on a village of Chialsa, Solukhumbu in Everest Region. Being born in a Sherpa family, Lhawang has a strong grasp of the rich Sherpa culture and heritage that so vastly dominates this beautiful region in Nepal. He is a 25-year-old licensed Trek guide with over 7 years of experience on his shoulder.
A Baccalaureate in Travel and Tourism Management from The Tribhuwan University, Lhawang is well informed about his work. He has been working with Yeti Adventures since last couple of years and has led trips in various trekking regions in Nepal. He has led most of the groups in to Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu region and has climbed Thorong peak (6144 m) recently. He has also received various training/courses such as Intensive Wilderness First Aid Course, MAP Reading and Navigation, Basic Mountain Rescue, introductory Rock Climbing & Basic Mountaineering Course by Nepal Mountaineering Association.

Meeting people from different places with different personalities; being able to explore new places and learning about different cultures.
