Raju Shrestha

Raju Shrestha has grown up exploring the lanes of old town in Bhaktapur, Kathmandu and beyond. Being born in a Newari household, Raju has a strong grasp of the rich culture and heritage that so vastly dominates this beautiful country, Nepal. He is a 49-year-old tour guide and trip leader with over 15 years of experience on his shoulder.

Travel experience and background:-

A Masters graduate in Arts (in Buddhist studies) from the Tribhuvan University, Raju is well informed about his work. He has been working with Yeti Adventures since last 10 years and has led trips in various trekking regions in Nepal. He has also travelled to countries like France, India, Tibet, China & Malaysia. He is one of the lead guides for Tirawa in Nepal.

What he enjoys about his job:

Meeting people from different places with different personalities; being able to explore new places and learning about different cultures. He loves trekking and also has involvements in Yoga and Meditations sessions locally.
