Rinji Furba Sherpa

Background and Travel experience:

Rinji Furba Sherpa has grown up exploring the village of Bhakanje, Solukhumbu in Everest Region. Being born in a Sherpa household, Rinji has a strong grasp of the rich Sherpa culture and heritage that so vastly dominates this beautiful region in Nepal. He is a 35-year-old both licensed Trek & Tour guide with over a decade of experience on his shoulder.

A  Masters degree holder in Travel and Tourism Management from The Tribhuwan University, Rinji is well informed about his work. He has been working with Yeti Adventures since 2017 and has led trips in various trekking regions in Nepal. He has led most of the groups in to Everest, Annapurna, Mustang, Dolpa, Rolwaling, Kanchenjungha & Langtang region. He has also climbed trekking peaks like Island Peak, Mera Peak, Lobuche Peak, Pisang Peak & Baruntse Peak (7,129 m). He has also travelled to countries like UAE, Bhutan, Thailand, India & Dubai. He has also led various treks for Exodus treks, KE Adventure & Kipling travel. He has also received various training/courses such as Advance Wilderness First Aid Course, MAP Reading and Navigation, High Mountain Rescue, introductory Rock Climbing & mountain Leadership Course.

What he enjoys about his job:

Meeting people from different places with different personalities; being able to explore new places and learning about different cultures. Being born in Everest Area he mostly loves trekking & leading groups in there.
