Sonam Tenzing Sherpa

Background and Travel experience:

Sonam Tenzing Sherpa has grown up exploring the lanes of Chumoa Solukhumbu in Everest Region. Being born in a Sherpa household, Sonam has a strong grasp of the rich Sherpa culture and heritage that so vastly dominates this beautiful region in Nepal. He is a 34-year-old licensed Trek guide with over 10 years of experience on his shoulder.

He has been working with Yeti Adventures since last couple of years and has led trips in various trekking regions in Nepal. He is also fluent in German Language and has led most of the groups in to Everest, Annapurna & Langtang region. He has also travelled to countries like Germany, India & Dubai. He also leads various treks for KE Adventure & AdAstra Adventure in Nepal.

What he enjoys about his job:

Meeting people from different places with different personalities; being able to explore new places and learning about different cultures. Being born in Everest Area he mostly loves trekking & leading groups there.
